Baoying Lake consists of a number of vast sprawling wetland. parks, walking trails and children's activities (rides etc.). It is interesting to observe the local people spending the day in the park enjoying some r&r.I spent most of the morning being taken on a brisk tour, which included a boat ride on the lake and a quick tour around the various walking trails and had time to stop in and see the Dragonboat festivities. A boat ride on the lake is my pick of the activities as getting on water, you realise the vast size of the water boat and the beauty of the wetlands.The walking trail through the bird area was also quite good.Within the Lake grounds is also a hotel and restaurant but I did not check this out.
