This zoo is far from anything you would see in the states, but it's not in the states! I give it a five because it was larger and nicer than we expected. We spent an hour and a half and saw everything. Lots of birds and some other cool animals like lions and pumas. It's all about expectations.

Not the best place to go if you're a turist. The place could really do much to improve. Its very sad to see all the mistreated caged animals.

El Zoologico de Managua es un peque?o rincón que reproduce variados micro ambientes para especies locales y otras que vienen de los otros continentes. Además, un peque?o mariposario agrega un toque interesante. Un buen punto de encuentro con la naturaleza y para conocer especies locales.
