Very remote yet truely virgin beach in goa..not completely motorable...u need to walk about a mile or two if u r an outsider...but the destination is worth it!! its quiet with one shack around..beautiful...romantic...perfect place to unwind and lose yourself in the lap of nature!!

Colva Beach was quite crowded, but the shops were awesome! You get very cheap, but very trendy sun- hats, clothes, mementos, sea- shell products etc. Ideal for a light pocket evening!

Large Cola beach ( near Blue Lagoon) is picturesque but shelves very steeply and the waves are strong, so is not good for swimming. There is, however, a fresh water lagoon at the back of the beach which most people use for swimming. I personally have an aversion to swimming in fresh water in tropical countries since my daughter caught a particularly nasty disease from doing so. Also the locals do tend to use rivers for washing and as a sewer and rubbish dump.Small Cola, the next bay to the north, is calmer but studded with rocks so one can swim more easily but you need to watch where you put your feet.

Cola Beach is a nice little beach located near Khola Village(as called by locals). It's a nice beach which is surrounded by lots of hills. Infact you have to descend a beach to reach the beach and the view from the hills is awesome. But, the road leading to beach is very bumpy. You need to have personal vehicle to reach this place. It is around 3kms from the village. But, once you reach the beach you will be in awe with the surroundings. It was the first beach I saw with a lagoon. Swimming in the beach is risky as it has lots of rocks. Some of the rocks were not visible because of the tide. I have seen few foreigners who were grievously injured by those rocks. Although, other foreigners were swimming in the lagoon, I didn't dare to enter into it. There were rooms available on both sides of the lagoon and a restaurant too on the beach.

This is one beach which is hard to find ( don't trust google map it takes you to an abandoned hut ) try looking for chatai homes which is close to this place or else you have to take a bumpy road with no one to guide you . After lot of searching you finally land up on the beach to find a peaceful yet beautiful place filled with tents and a small backwater touching the sea . This place is scarce in terms of population which is the best part , be warned you may loose network connectivity once you reach this place . Nice place for couples to spend quality time with their loved ones . Food is not so costly though you might find the huts a bit taxing . Spend a peaceful day and flush out all your worries. Must visit beach among all beautiful ones in south Goa .

Chilled beach with gorgeous cooling lagoon behind the beach where you can swim or kayak, easy to reach by scooter or car although road is a bit bumpy with a short walk down to the cove.

A very calm, peaceful, serene beach. Perhaps the most beautiful raw beach you can find in Goa.The way to the beach is little creepy and bad. There are 2 ways. In one way, you take a diversion from the main road for some 3 kms - rugged path(Not a proper road). Once you slowly navigate through your eyes suddenly pops out with the stunning view of the waters, over a cliff (its mindblowing!). Thats a edge of a cliff facing the sea, and its amazing! You need to park your vehicle there. And then its a way downhill from the rocky cliff to the beach down. Its a little dangerous if you are having big bags to carry as it is trekking kinda way and needs to be careful. Once you climb down and touch the sands, you will forget everything. You cannot swim in the beach as it is a rocky one, but there is a beautiful lagoon where you can swim, take a boat. Both the sides of the lagoon has 2 resorts. Mobile network is hardly there, which makes you all the more away from all disturbances. Also the resort I've been doesn't accept cards, maybe cz of the poor network issues. So you might have to check those things before hand.If you do not have a vehicle, you need to arrange a pick up from that parking point. As you will not get any cabs/rickshaws there.Overall a must visit beach, very different from the montonous beaches you can find elsewhere

Lovely private quiet beach with palm trees and clean water. Not easy to get to if you are disabled as there are precarious steps to get down on to beach.

I have been there many times, and it is just fantastic. There is both a fresh water lake and a beautiful beach. The most comfortable way to get there is by boat from one of the beaches further south. The view there is beautiful, and so is the sunsets.Have stayed there for many days many times and the food is always good.

very nice place, not very much people, wonderful views especially behind rocks (south), good food, awful way to get there on scooter - no asphalt road but gravel road, ful of dirt and rocks

This beach is a little off the beaten path.. We took a taxi from Agonda to visit this beach for the day, and honestly, I wondered whether the taxi would make it at times.. A 4x4 might have been more appropriate! But how worth the bumpy ride it was! You arrive at the top of a cliff, and the descent down is a little scary at times.. If you have small children or mobility issues, I wouldn't recommend this route to the beach..but what a view! The beach itself was almost abandoned. On one side you have fresh water, and the other side, the sea. There are a couple of places to grab a bite to eat or a refreshing drink, but if it was the perfect blissful day at the beach you wanted..then spend it here.Best sunset view I've ever seen.
