I just recently moved from Manila to Davao and so far, among the places that I've been to... This is my favorite hang-out place...Why? It's just 1 hour away from the city and you will be relaxed with the ambience and strong wind in this resort. It's a bit crowdy because of the locals and tourists spend their weekends here but it did not bother us. We just savor the stress-free ambience that this nature is giving us. You have to ride a barge from Sasa Wharf and ride a habal-habal to get to this place. It's better if you have your own vehicle if you are a lot to save money because habal-habal costs from 250Php-300Php roundtrip. They have 3 huts for rent, few open cottages and tents for rent. Entrance fee is 40Php.

Kaputian beach, Samal Island is accessed from the road running parallel to it via a turnstile where a small admission fee is payable. It is possible to rent beach huts, which are in fairly good condition, not far from the water's edge. The beach is beautiful white sand, which is great for sunbathing and having fun. But beware, the beach slopes very steeply into the sea, which might not be good for inexperienced swimmers. But the water is very refreshing and clean,

Наше путешествие по Филиппинам мы начали с острова Самал. Однако в районе Бабак, как мне показалось, есть проблемы с красивыми и удобными для купания пляжами. Знакомые трициклисты вызвались отвезти нас на пляж Капутьян. На мотоцикле добирались около 40-50 минут, с небольшими остановками. Сам пляж бесплатный, но мы арендовали беседку на пляже, где организовали обед. Сразу побежала к морю, но оказалось, что так уж легко в воду не войти. На берегу много остатков кораллов. Поэтому если соберетесь посетить этот пляж - возьмите с собой коралловые тапки. Плюс из-за особенностей климата в феврале здесь ещё достаточно прохладная вода, относительно прохладная, если сравнивать с другими филиппинскими островами. Зато и сам Самал, и пляж Капутьян - очень душевные места, где стоит задержаться подольше.
