This is a great place to get some peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle. There's a lot of great trails that make you feel like you're miles away from anyone else. The trails are maintained and everyone we've ever run into are respectful.

Great conservation area with lots of wooded walking trails. The Bruce Trail goes through the area. Great for a short 30-60min hike on some of the smaller trails. Or jump on the Bruce Trail for a longer hike!

The trails in this area are well marked and there's an area where you could even have a picnic. Easy trails not too difficult with some hills. When you think it's too hot there's often a cool breeze coming off the lake that you won't feel in the city.

I have been going to woodend since I was in school. we would take a bus with classmates usually in the spring or fall. there is a ton of walking and hiking trails where you can see a variety of wildlife.
