This small park was found through word of mouth as being a much smaller, but free alternative to the famous Capilano Suspension Bridge. Capilano is still a must-do, but this small park should be the after-party. While the little suspension bridge is rather crowded and small, the scenery can't be beat. The bridge hangs over brilliant blue cascading water behind a tall waterfall. Past the bridge, you emerge into the rainforest of the Pacific Northwest and the hiking is absolutely enchanting, particularly on an overcast day as when we visited. I highly recommend taking the 5-10 minute trip east from Capilano to hike along the mountainside in Lynn Canyon.

the suspension bridge is amazing as you watch the locals jump from the rocks into the water below...my kids grew up in Lynn Canyon and it was the best place to raise kids

This place has the free suspension bridge in North Van ¨C unlike the Capilano bridge which is very touristy. (I used to work there many years ago.) A great place to walk dogs or simply go for a walk yourself. Lovely walks in the woods or along a trail.Kids sometimes jump off a small cliff into the river. Don't be at all tempted to do this yourself as people sometimes die.

Lots of trails to lose yourself in Mother Nature on the North Shore.Fresh air, great scenery and well marked paths to hike for an hour or three.

I have spent there over half a day with friends. Park is great. So many hiking trials, waterfalls and ponds with extremely cold but crystal clear water. We were cliff diving over there. Great place. Suspension bridge over there is amazing and views breathe taking. I will visit this place again someday. True gem.

Beautiful area, with trails to suit most abilities...I would err on the side of caution as far as ability goes, though, as certain trails marked as easy can include some steep inclines, stairs, and uneven terrain. I didn't have any issues with this, but encountered an elderly couple who were clearly struggling down a steep incline and were only half way through the trail. Very unspoiled area, with a beautiful river...one of my favorite places to spend a weekend hiking with the family:)

Great area to trail run, go for a stroll, sit by the river and enjoy the scenery year round. Easy access to the suspension bridge, twin falls, and the sights and sounds of the raging canyon. It's my little piece of heaven. Less touristy that other areas with tons of locals. Great little coffee shop at the entrance called end of the line for a post nature ice cream cone.

Hiking or strolling. No limitation for you as long as you can walk. Coffee shop at the suspension bridge. Awe inspiring views. Lots of parking. Picnic tables set up for large groups or smaller ones. A beautiful way to spend an hour or a day
