While driving through Ville-Marie we visited Chocolats Martine. Located on rue Ste.Anne West, off rue Notre Dame (at the marina), the store is a must-see for any chocoholic. They sell many varieties/combinations of chocolates, gift baskets and desserts and also have a 30 minute factory tour ($2.00 by reservation only) which we didn't do. Small kitchen gadgets can be purchased there such as fancy measuring spoons, mugs, utensils, lunch/cooler bags, pepper mills made from wood as well as jams, olive oils, tapenaudes etc.They have a website in both official languages www.chocolatsmartine.com. The staff was very sympathetic to our French and could speak decent English so there was no communication problam at all.Well worth a visit to buy some chocolate and eat across the street in the waterfront park.
