I found this shop on a day trip out to Mullumbimby (Biggest little town in Australia according to the cute sign as you come into town) - about 20 km's north of Byron. The town seemed to have more of a hippy vibe than Byron... cute cafe's and friendly locals.The Son of Drum shop kept me entertained for about half an hour! I felt like I was in a toy store for adults :) so many different & interesting instruments... awesome selection of African style drums and a massive wall of ukuleles. Friendly staff who don't mind you trying out their instruments. The staff also run weekly drum lessons.
