You can sit on her lap, leg, or beside her on a bronze memorial placed on the seawall about 50 yards from the Buzios pier. No charge. It is worth the 15 minutes to pose with her.

twenty years ago residents were around who remember her walking surrounded by local children, always sweet stories regarding how nice she was, she was an icon of Buzios, and pertinent to its past...........great reminder to wear sunscreen!

The statue is located in Bardot's promenade and it is funny when you get a picture with her. The sunset is awesome. You need to go there.

Not what the rest of the world thinks of as "Brigitte Bardot"... although this may be what she looked liked walking the streets of Buzios.

It's just a bronze statue sitting on a bench by the beach. You may pass by it in wandering the city, but it's a little outside of the city center; maybe 5-10 minutes walk. Unless you are Briget Bardot's biggest fan, I can't see any reason to go out of your way to see this. It's between city center and my pousada, so I saw it several times and didn't even slow down.

Brigitte is long-gone, but her likeness remains as a testimony to her importance to Buzios. Often a wait to be photographed with her!

If you're in B¨²zios, it's compulsory to pay homage to the statue/figure of Brigitte Bardot, one of the responsible of the tourist boom of this place and of the conversion into a fashionable tourist spot. Be patient and follow the cue to take a picture with "Brigitte" as a tourist souvenir of the city!
