Golden Horn Bay (Zoltoy Rog in Russian) has amazing sites all around. Russian Pacific Fleet warships parked in the bay, large ferries, fishing boats and the new Zoltoy Rog Most (Golden Horn Bay Bridge). Stay at the hotel Hyundai and ask for a room on the Bay side.

Golden Horn Bay is the heart of Vladivostok. Russian Empire always wanted to own Constantinople with its Goldern Horn Bay but the dream never came true. Unrealeased desire pushed Russia to give the same name to its own bay. The bridge across Golden Horn Bay was built for the APEC summit and now is the main symbol of the city. Trading port and fishing port are situated within the bay, there are also some dockyards.

The Bay is pretty and worth viewing from many different perspectives. View it from the sea terminal, the lookout point atop the city or from the bridge opposite.

The Golden Horn Bay is one of the nicest bays that we have seen on our different cruises . The nature around is impressive and the 2 huge bridges now nearly completed are also adding to the beauty of the site . It is worth seeing even on a chilling day !

An important city in the bay, its length by about 8 kilometers, now requires the removal of debris and its Spatial Planning, goes inside the small boat - a ferry in the middle - bridge. Does not freeze in winter, the water is dirty and that you can not swim around a lot of important buildings and large houses on the south side, strong winds often blow here, is an industrial and transport bay, bay, and now bears the name of cultural history.

The bay surrounding the coastal city of Vladivostok is quite beautiful and if you can look past the naval dockyards with its cold war relics and modern fleet area you can see that many high rise apartments are being built to take advantage of the surrounding views.There are many inlets to enjoy leaving the port and the sunsets were magnificent.Smaller ferries overloaded with people ply between different parts of the area.We saw it from a cruise ship so we don't know if there are any boat services to take you out on the water but it would be a nice ride.Enjoy your visit!
