Went to visit this church after seeing it in all the Iceland guidebooks. It was a short walk from our Hotel. Sat in the church for a short while, someone was playing the organ as we sat. Went to the top if the tower (Isk600) where there were stunning veiws all over Reykjavik. Well worth a visit.

Great views over Reykjavik from the top of this church! Buy a ticket from the bookstore clerk and take the elevator to the top. Well worth the small cost!

A beautiful church with an amazing view. I've been there twice! The first time at the end of summer when a national choir was practicing which was incredible. The last time on a snowy march day which made for dramatic views.

The church is included in the hop on hop of bus tour. Visit during the day and check out the interior. Visit at night and get some great photos

My wife and I went here and I took some great photos of the city in a moment where the sky was clear. The wait is about 10-15 minutes to go up the elevator but well worth it. The church itself is a bit sterile as it is all concrete.

This is one of the most important attractions in Reykjavik that you should not miss. It is centrally located. The organ is incredible. The sound is fantastic. Th view from the top is really excellent. However, you need to pay fo go up though. About IKR900.

Beautiful church, easy to find and worth a visit. You can go up in the tower for about $6 USD but I didn't go up. I would imagine the views of the city are wonderful.

I walked up to the church on my last holiday day in Reykjavik to take a few pictures as it looked like you could get a great view. I went out quite early so had the place to myself for a short while. I had time to light a candle & sit in the quiet admiring the interior. I then went up the tower to look at the view & while up there a snow storm arrived which was quite exhilarating! After 10 mins it disappeared and the view returned which is very pretty. Lots of colourful roofs & the sea... After going up the tower I spent some time listening to an organ player before walking back down the hill. Often turning around to take one last look at the church's peculiar shape...
