Beautiful location but heavy breakers can make swimming hazardous. We witnessed a young bloke being taken to an ambulance after falling foul of the waves

If you have visited Ka? or Kalkan you must have seen this natural wonder. This beach is very close to Kalkan. At least one time you should swim at this superb beach. The shore of it is not shallow and tides are swipping the beach especially in sunset times. The perfect colour of the sea is turquoise. Be ready to descend hundreds of stairs to reach the beach. If it is possible do not forget to carry or rent an umbrella for the hot sun. Because there is no shadow.

This was the most blissful day - the water is the most amazing colour and we could have spent all day in the water. There was also some delcious savoury and sweet crepes being cooked in little tents on the beach which we had for lunch - we can also buy water and soft drinks. A very easy drive from Kas, a bit of a climb coming back up the stairs after you are finished at the beach but more than worth it! We only had one day here but I wish we could have had more!

Kaputas beach is about 15 minute drive from Kas. Buses go every 20-30 minutes so you don't have to spend too much money on taxi. We were being lazy so went by cab which costed us 50TL (around ?15), but trip by bus would have been as quick costing us 3-5TL each way. Make sure you get everything you need before coming to the beach, we didn't see any shops around where you can get cigarettes, towel or extra things. You can buy food and alcohol on the beach, very yummy pancakes :) View was something out of this world... Mountains, islands, green water, white sand... You can also visit blue cave, all info is available on the beach. Cant wait to come back!

Is really Amazing. You can stop and take photos. You have to experience to swim once. Summer time to crowded try before season in May.

This is a beautiful beach, with stunning views and hypnotic, turquoise waters.It's a short (and cheap) bus ride from Kas. Bus service is regular (once an hour) and safe.There is no shade so you must bring, or hire at beach, a sun umbrella.A couple kiosks serve food and drinks.The beach is beautiful, but when i visited it was packed - which was ok, except from when a "party boat" stopped by blasting horrible dance music!I imagine early in the day, or off season, beach would be magical... But even when busy it's definitely worth a visit!

This beach is real fun because it doesn't get deep fast. Playing on shallow waters is great fun for family.

It's a beautiful place. However I should note that it's better go early and find an umbrella, otherwise there is no shadow so it's unbearable.

Beautiful beautiful place, but as a decent swimmer I must say that it is terribly dangerous with a strong undertow or riptide. Steps not a problem if you have been to Wreck Beach in Vancouver!

Spectacular setting. Gets a bit busy at peak times, hundreds of steps down, no facilities on beach. Ideal day trip from Kas or Kalkan.
