Close to Ke?marok, High Tatra mountains lines behind you. There are only the fields and trees all around you. It is so cold outside, strong wind blows, you want to stay in the car. You can hardly believe, there is the thermal spa in front of you.. . Eventually you enter the small spa building, the attentive staff will explain to you the rules, you pay the fee and get the chip, the world of springs opens up for you. . Two and a half hours for Eur 7.50 is the optimal price I guess. The Indoor swimming pool leads to the canal to the outdoor pool which contains 36?C thermal water. Pure pleasure. You are almost dissolving in the sulfury and steaming water.. It's raining cats and dogs, but you simply shiver with pleasure. You can even walk out of the water after a while and proceed to the third, the warmest pool. Hours go by and you are getting nicely tired, happy and relaxed . One of reviewers have mentioned the fact, there it is not about luxury and culinary art there. I am happy it is so. It is about the steamy heaven without the screaming crowd, clean and well maintained, surrounded by fields in the middle of nowhere.

Thermal Park Vrbov is just beside the main road from Levoca, parking is possible near Hotel/Restaurant "Flipper" The main building is nice and modern. I had a 2,5 hrs ticket for EUR 6.38 with the 15% discount I received from Hotel Menhard. Tried out 3 pools, the best one was the warmest :) It is good for a winter chill, I have enjoyed it.

Thermal park is the nice place with the poor service, but the thermal water is comfortable and everyone can find self which relax ( swimming) pool is perfect for self. I saw today one big threat !!! Its meal. In a thermal park serve just coffee and baguette. In area is just one ,, restaurant,, koliba,,. I tried some kitchen specialites with soup. Everything was harmfull. Waitress was little puzzled, while i asked about food. She sad, that all is homemade prepared. I think she lied me. I ordered the homemade slovak classic food and the result is on the photo. ( pork sausage, sausage, boiled potatos???, sauerkraft, pork neck). Anyway the sausage was very nice, but the rest? And prize ? I can just smiling, nice location, too high prize for low quality, very low.

The thermal park has open air pools with various temperature of water. It is very pleasant. Even when the weather is chilly. Clean area. Not expesive entrance fee. We liked the visit. It might be good relax after a hike in the Tatras or mountais around.

I can really recommend this place hidden just a few kilometres from Poprad. They offer two reconstructed pools, one with hot sulfur water and another one with currents and massaging bubbles. There are also other rather time-worn pools. Yet the showers and cloakrooms are new and perfectly clean at all time. You can also find there several stalls and a restaurant. The only disadvantage is that children under 6 aren't allowed in the hot water pool. Anyway, if you are an active hiker this is the best place to relax your exhausted feet :)

In case you go for holiday to High Tatras and weather is not that good, or you want to unwind after hike or skiing, you can visit one of several thermal parks with pools nearby (Poprad, Besenova, Liptovsky Mikulas, Liptovsky Jan). We prefer to go to Vrbov, a small village with nothing but a gipsy suburb and thermal park. The park has one swimming pool and several "sitting" pools with massage jets. Almost all outdoor. Water is excellent, helps a lot in case of painful joints and muscles. And the best time is winter evening, with big snowflakes falling down on your head. Take a bottle of water with you so that you have something to drink, during the low season refreshment facilities are very limited.

Na S?owacj? je?d?? od kilku lat, ale do tej pory korzysta?am z Aquaparku w Popradzie i basen¨®w termalnych na W?grzech. Dojazd i wej?cie na baseny nie s? zbyt ?atwe, zw?aszcza jak jedzie si? tam noc?, ale troszk? wysi?ku i jest si? na miejscu. Cena jest bardzo rozs?dna, bo za 2,5 godziny osoba doros?a p?aci 7,5 euro. ?azienki z prysznicem nie s? najgorsze, ale maj? zniszczone krany i mogliby ju? to wymieni?. Suszarek jest zdecydowanie za ma?o. Dwie na taki obiekt to przegi?cie. Je?eli chodzi o temperatur? wody w basenach to jak do tej pory, /wed?ug mojej opinii/ jest to najcieplejsza woda w jakich by?am. Woda zawiera du?o r¨®?nych minera?¨®w, wi?c po wyj?ciu jest aksamitne g?adka. Atrakcji dla dzieci nie ma ?adnych s? to baseny dla doros?ych. Ja widzia?am tylko jeden brodzik dla maluszk¨®w typu "biedronka". Mo?na na miejscu skorzysta? z masa?y /dodatkowa op?ata/ i z restauracji. Cena jest bardzo adekwatna do oferowanych us?ug i na pewno wr¨®c? tam jeszcze raz.
