We stayed here in mid-June, just before the place fully opened. This place features a cabin-style accommodation where you bring/rent your own linens. The cabins are clean and feature good views from both sides (one side being the moose). Curtains a bit thin in blocking out the 24-hour daylight, but otherwise very good. Wifi was good. Breakfast can be bought separately, it was ok but if doing it again we would have arranged to bring something ourselves. We also got a free moose tour staying there for the night, spending around 1/2 hr in the moose pen - that was one of the highlights of the trip.

We visited on 29th May, just before the baby moose were born. Our accomodation was a converted farm building, lots of character and comfortable. There are binoculars for watching the moose in the field. Sune is a great host, we were one of a few guests staying over, and he spoke at length about the TV crews who come to see the moose, how he started to make moose money. You get to walk With the moose, and to touch them, they are totally tame. A great experience not to be missed.

Detta bes?k p? Moose Garden var mitt tredje eller fj?rde. Det ?r alltid lika trevligt att komma dit. Moose Garden ligger n?ra ?stersund. Det ligger vackert med utsikt mot en sj?. Rundturen b?rjar med lite information om ?lgarna. Sedan f?r man b?rja med att h?lsa p? ?lgkalvarna. Efter det s? g?r man ner till h?gnet med de vuxna ?lgarna. Man f?r klappa och har man tur kanske man f?r en ?lgpuss! :) Detta ?r verkligen en unik upplevelse! Rekommenderar verkligen!

Der Chef pers?nlich macht seine F¨¹hrung.Dabei erkl?rt er einiges im voraus ¨¹ber die Elche.Sein trockener Humor brachte uns ?fters zum lachen und das mehrsprachig. Dann gings ins Gehege zu den Elchen. Dort verbrachten wir ca 1 Stunde. Man streichelt und beobachtet.Es wird nicht langweilig. sp?ter im Shop kann man einen snack zu sich nehmen oder seife und Papier kaufen.

Il Moose Garden ¨¨ un'occassione meravigliosa per poter vedere da vicino - molto vicino - le alci e trascorrere un p¨° di tempo in loro compagnia. Il costo della visita ¨¨ pi¨´ che abbordabile, il Sig. Sune Haggmark - propietario del luogo - ¨¨ un vero spasso e se capitate da quelle parti dopo maggio, potrete anche avere l'occasione di dare da mangiare e coccolare qualche cucciolo di alce (una cosa stupenda!!!). Un'oretta ben spesa che ha contribuito a rendere speciale le mie vacanze in quella zona di Svezia.

Il Moose Garden rappresenta un'occasione eccellente per incontrare le alci. Ma non semplicemente per osservarle: si tratta di animali che hanno imparato a "tollerare" l'uomo, quindi il gestore permette l'ingresso nei grandi recinti!E' possibile accarezzare gli animali, che si dimostrano molto docili, pur mantenendo sempre un certo livello di attenzione (non sono pericolosi in quanto aggressivi, ma per via della loro imponente mole, oltre 500 kg!).Anche il costo di ingresso ¨¨ particolarmente basso, quindi lo consiglio a chi volesse osservare molto da vicino questi splendidi animali!
