Fatmomakke is an amazing place to visit. The church town is packed with traditional Sami huts with grass roofs and wooden shelters. One of them is open so that you can take a peek inside. There are also some displays explaining the history of church towns and Sami people. The church is open, and worth a quick look - it is very simply decorated inside. The whole area is packed with interesting birds, and there are great views across the lake.
