Good for a day out, or a drive away from Gothenburg!Very cold, not much happening on the winter, but very friendly and nice little place...The fortress is good to walk around, and there is one or two little shops, I imagine in the summer is a very different place, but it was a nice day out a nice drive from Gothenburg.

Great for a walk around the small village which is painted in pastels. We walked the castle wall but didn't go inside. Some nice little shops for boating souvenirs of quality like clothing, bags made out of discarded sails.

The island has several nice maritime themed shops and restaurants. The fortress is exciting and interesting to be guided about. You can swim from the cliffs or walk to the beach. There is a small person's ferry to the island, which is free from cars. We've been there several times. Swimming is free, but the ferry and fortress cost money.

D¨¦barqu¨¦ du ferry, on arrive dans Main Street puis on grimpe vers le fort et on se retrouve dans la for¨ºt avec ses grottes bien cach¨¦es. On continue par un tour quasi complet de l'ile sue les rochers. Baignade, casse-croute, bronzette, p¨ºche, de quoi occuper un bonne demi journ¨¦e !

Ta fergen fra marstrand til denne fantastiske perlen! Det er anlagt flotte stier langs vannet og gjennom den lille skogen! Skj?rg?rden av ypperste klasse. Avslutt gjerne i de store fortet Carlsten festning som ble p?begynt p? 1600-tallet. Her lukter det nordiske kriger og admiral tordenskiold!
