I spent a week in Norrkoping with some friends who live there and I will never forget the rushing water and the iron bridges; the classical architecture and textile mills that would look at home in New England; the parks and gardens. This is a special city with a lot of heart.

Walking around the Industrial Landscape of Norrk?ping and feeling the winds of history is very nice. The scenery is changing and Norrk?ping is a very nice town to stroll in. The landscape is beautiful with the stream running through!

This area is the result of careful restorations of the previous home of heavy industry. Textilemills, paperfactories and storagebarns now house museums, restaurants as well as the city concert hall!Well worth a stroll just for the water and architecture, but the museums and restaurants are also topnotch!

Since we live close to the Industrial Landscape we every week make at least one walk in this important part of the industrial history in Sweden. Here old factory Buildings has transformed into keeping students and new IT companies. There are also several nice restaurants and just close by Knappingsborg the Hackerser h?fe of Norrkoping.

The museums are good and during the summer there is always something new to surprise you such as an outdoor concert, dance group, etc.. There are several restaurants in the area mostly good

Originally built as "serious" industrial construction, now it looks like entertaining and challenging nice landscape. A lot of water everywhere - under you and above you. You can walk for a couple of hours through paths, stairs, gates, tubes, old and modern buildings.
