There was really best dinner in our 18-day trip in Spain. Rafael was most friendly owner which I met in our journey and his english was really helpful. Great restaurant in great little uncommon village.

Bar escueva is the most friendly place in Setenil de las Bodegas. The main reason are people who works there, and also visit the place but especially the owner- Rafael :) He speaks English, so it was very helpful, but he taught us new words in Spanish :)Bar is situaded in the most popular calle, under the big rock, where you can admire unusual view.Prces in the bar are very reasonable. Food- we ate the best jamon iberico steak in Spanish i think :) Also tapas like toast with andalucian etceteras and lamb meat was very very tasty.Drinks- wine, wine and wine again- realy on the Rafael :)Thanks a lot for the friendly atmosphere and good time!

Had lunch at this restaurant during our visit to the village. We tried the selection of toasts (all with different toppings such as ham and quail eggs, and caramelised onion and goats cheese) and found them all to be delicious - and great value at €10 for 7 pieces. The service was equally good. Highly recommended.

Hemos estado un par de veces, el sitio estupendo en plena cueva del sol, el servicio magn¨ªfico, atento, amable y r¨¢pido. El camarero nos hizo la foto de rigor en la roca. La comida exquisita, el jam¨®n riqu¨ªsimo. Muy recomendable!

Estuvimos en un domingo y simplemente pasamos por all¨ª por las cuevas, y al ver que nos est¨¢bamos poniendo para hacer una foto, el camarero sin nosotros ped¨ªrselo nos propuso hacerla ¨¦l para que sali¨¦ramos todos, as¨ª que al final como pens¨¢bamos buscar un sitio para tomar algo, pues nos quedamos all¨ª.La mayor¨ªa pidi¨® cerveza, y para alegr¨ªa del grupo hab¨ªa Cruzcampo que es la que siempre buscan, tambi¨¦n ten¨ªan coca-cola light y zero, y yo me ped¨ª una caf¨¦ con leche que me pusieron en taza cremosito y muy bueno.De la comida no podemos opinar, porque no la probamos pero la carta ten¨ªa buena cara.

Estuvimos en S¨¢bado, todos los bares llenos, incluido la escueva. El servicio fue r¨¢pido y las tapas buenisimas. La tapa Tita Rosi, pollo con una salsa da champi?ones estaba buenisimo, las brochetas y croquetas tambi¨¦n muy ricas. El surtido de tostadas tambi¨¦n es una buena opci¨®n. Todo muy bueno y a muy buen precio. Volveremos.

visita casual a Setenil...calle muy tipica servicio muy bueno...pedir queso de cabra con pimientos caramelizados.....
