Visited here for the first time in many years recently and found it just as I had remembered. Fabulous!!Took the guided nature tour at 10 am. Have had the same guide "Jack" several times over the years. Extremely knowledgeable. Tour length depends on group interest. The story about the Apache Fire house on the hillside south of the visitor center is very interesting. When we were there, there had been several rainy days in a row and Oak Creek was flowing heavily. In dryer weather, be sure to check out the petroglyphs along the river.US Forest Service parking passes not accepted here as this is a state park. Fee is based on number of people, not the vehicle itself. On nights when there is a full moon, there are guided night time hikes.

Just stay away from west Sedona. The people there don't want you there and they'll tell you just that. They think they own the scenery. One old fart in his Mercedes Benz actually told us to leave as we were taking pictures in the side or the road.

This is a great park to visit in Sedona. Make sure that you hike on cooler days and bring plenty of water, there isn't a lot of shade once you hike above the tree line. You get spectacular views of the red rocks all round.

It is hard to go wrong in this park -- there are several trails, all with amazing scenery. Very walkable for all ages.

the entire area is well worth your time and travel. Loved walking around the area with the snow on the mountains and feeling the crisp air

Once we discovered this very special place, we returned everyday during our stay in Sedona. I was with my 9 year old grandson and he had a blast. We could have just spent the entire day at the park. There is a area of sliding rocks that leads to a swim hole. A great way to cool off.

We came to RRSP for family photos. It is amazing. So much to see and do and lots of wide open spaces, hiking trails, photography spots, picnic areas. We came to capture the red rocks and last of the fall leaves in our family photos, but had a wonderful time exploring as well. We will definitely return here on our next visit!

You can make this a scenic drive or a fabulous hiking experience. Either way the breathtaking views cause you to be camera ready. Really a wonderful experience requiring multiple visits to appreciate all the beauty this area has to offer. The stunning viewing will bring you back. Local residents are friendly and helpful in answering questions about this wonderland!

On a sunny winter day we took the short hike along Oak Creek not for the exercise ¨C it¡¯s an easy one. Thanks to off season just a hand full of visitors and plenty of opportunities to take pictures. So, no words are needed to explain the pleasure we took.

My wife and I renewed our wedding vows here. It was perfect. We sat on the rocks eating cupcakes and enjoying the scenery and our love.

This was a breath-taking day. The sky was so blue with the red rocks. Our friend from Phoenix took us there and he showed us all the beautiful sights. I would highly recommend this place for anyone who loves beauty to visit.

great drive on good road. Close to towns and adequate access to what needs you may have see good overview of unique Sedona environment.

We have visited Red Rock State Park multiple times and always enjoy coming back. Their trails are generally in the easy category - only the Eagles Nest Trail has any significant elevation gain - and well maintained. We like go birding when we are there and generally see quite a few species. Overall, this is a worthwhile park to visit.

Amazing hiking trails. Something for every level of difficulty. Helpful staff in centre and volunteer naturalists on trails. Loved it.
