Hershey has made a great effort to keep adding new rides to its park. The addition of the boardwalk area has helped to lighten the crowds in the amusement park area. The coasters are really good, too. Some parks, like 6 Flags, really attract thrill riders, but Hershey is good for thrill seekers as well as the little ones. There is plenty to do for everyone

Came with all of the family, fab day! Unfortunately when we arrived, the weather was very poor and most of the rides were closed due to heavy rain. However this passed within an hour and left the theme park very quiet which meant we were able to jump straight on all of the rides! Silver lining, great day out!

Don't say y'all! Lol! I loved it though being a chocolate sweet lover fan it was amazing and lots of cool souvenirs and candy!

Every time I go back to Hershey, ever since I was a kid, I end up feeling the same way.Happy.That's the truth about this park; it's a Disney World closer to home, made for the chocaholic in all of us. When I was a kid and visited the park, it was just about meeting the characters and riding the rides, but as I've grown up, I now can do even more. The shows are decent, especially the yearly musical at the Music Box Theatre.Also, the rides are just awesome. At other local amusement parks like Dorney Park or the further away Six Flags Great Adventure, the wait times can eclipse 2 hours to just get on a ride. At Hershey, in that time you can ride three coasters - all on different ends of the park, and allowing time to walk between them all. Not to mention the park's employees. Overall, they seem happy. You're bound to come across one or two who are not happy where they are, but that happens basically everywhere. One piece of advice though - if you plan to use the water park area during the summer, you will need almost a whole day to use all attractions. Also, add a little extra money to your budget, as a locker will be nearly a necessity unless you bring a designated person to watch everything. Also, the lines will be a bit long in the dead of summer for water rides - so do expect that.

Particularly the pre-visit. We drive up on a Thursday night, visit the park preview hours, pay for parking which is good for next day return, and spend the whole day there Friday, going home afterward.We find the park family friendly, the visitors to the park the same, and have never had an issue in-park.Kids love the Chocolate World ride too, which we do 3 or four times each visit. Early before the park is open, and late before it closes are great times to visit the Chocolate World ride.

Best amusement park I've ever been to! First visited when I was a kid in 1973 and have been many times through the years. We have wonderful memories of our annual visits with my sister and our children through their teen years. So much fun!

Just as I remembered it but better than when I was 8 years old! A lot of water rides! Wear a bathing suit under your clothes. A lot of roller coasters and cool rides. Bring a water bottle with you. Saves you a lot of money at the park!

This is a nice, clean, great place for the family. It is about a 4 to 5 hour drive from NYC area, but a nice place for younger and older kids. It has a nice mix of rides. You do need to stay overnight, if you drove 5 hours there....unless you really like driving.

How can you not love an amusement park centered around chocolate. Hershey's founder Milton Hershey first created this park for the employees of his company and later opened it to the public to enjoy.The park has rides for both kids and adults to enjoy. With paid admission ZooAmerica is available to explore. ZooAmerica is the Hershey Park zoo and is accessible through the park. There's a waterpark area that is generally new, a kids area, and a few themed areas. There are rollercoasters for those that like thrills. It's an old park and it certainly shows, but it is still fun to enjoy and there's been a lot of updates throughout the years.If you go to Chocolate World you can take a free tour of what the factory looks like and get a free Hershey's treat when you get off. There you can buy tons of chocolate and sweets, souvenirs, eat, drink, and create your own Hershey's chocolate bar.Big tip: There's a thing called the park preview. Purchase your tickets ahead of time and get to the park on your first day. It starts about 6:30-7pm and allows you to enter the park until it closes. You are then able to have fun at the park and use the same ticket and the same parking ticket the next day without having to pay anything extra. It's great if you want to make the most of your money and enjoy the park longer.
