On our last day, we decided to make the most of the sunny weather. And we certainly made the right decision. Beautiful spot with a fantastic area for the young and young at heart. The only downside was the price. Fully worth it cost s whole day, but wish there was a discount after a certain time. But we loved it and we wish we had more time. Make sure to make this a stop when in Dallas.

This place is expensive for what it is, which I considered a glorified park. Note for American Orchid society members, you do not get a discounted rate!!!! First botanical garden I've been to that didn't offer one. There was no rhyme or reason to the layout. Everything was the same. Usually botanical gardens section into: desert, tropical, native, etc... This was all the same wherever you walked.I can only see this being a good place to have events or senior pictures. Don't go here for the botanical aspect because there isn't one.

If you are into gardening, this place is a treat. Great to see the flora that is grown here in my new home state. We came for a Christmas party that was held in one of the houses within the garden, but we had the opportunity to walk the grounds on our way in. They had it all decorated for the Christmas with various scenes. Definitely worth a few hours if you are a gardener, which I am!

Such a beautiful place to visit. Fun for the whole family. My girls, 5 & 2, loved the kids park. Lots of fun with great educational elements.

I took my little cousins here and we all had a really great time! There were plenty of lively exhibits and information given. This is a place I know I can always come to and haven a good time.

The conference I was attending had ended and my flight was the next day. This was the perfect side trip. It is a little ways out of downtown, I made the mistake of taking a cab to get there, nearly $40! When I asked at the front gate I was told there was a bus that stopped right in front of the main entrance, I easily found the schedule, hopped the bus that took straight downtown, within 2 blocks of my hotel and it cost $4! It was easy and I felt entirely safe traveling by myself. The gardens were huge, beautiful and such a joy! I was there in November, they had a harvest pumpkin area that was amazing and they were getting ready for Christmas events, so several displays were up and nearly complete, got to see the best of two holidays. The cost was reasonable and I could have spent more time, lots of ways to walk around and through the many gardens, paved in some areas and quite busy, gravel paths in other areas and not so heavily traveled. There were people of all ages, including may young families and it seemed everyone was having a wonderful afternoon, enjoying beautiful weather as well. There were a couple eating places open, both open air and indoors, all the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Took my six year old to children's adventure garden and she really had a great time. Many things to explore and adults can enjoy too. My daughter walked for three hours without any complaint. We were there on a cloudy day, which was very comfortable but some projects are better suited for a sunny day. This is probably the best place for children in Dallas. Family membership allows free parking, free admittance to the park, free or heavily discounted admission fee to the children's garden depending on which package you choose. We are definitely going back. Highly recommended.

Fabulous, well maintained with interesting seasonal displays. Also great for summer concerts and picnics. Parking fee seems high to me.

Arboretum is nice not great and of course seasonal. For what it is they have way over priced the tickets. I would rather walk around the White Rock Lake. We used to go all the time but they have priced us out of the market. This is really a shame because this should be something for everyone in Dallas not just those with money.

We went in the winter period in between winterstorms and the garden was well kept and had beautiful flowers. We will be back in the summer for the picnics and concerts !
