what a disappointment to find they were not open on the weekend when we were there....really should open a lot more often...especially during holidays

If you are interested in the local history,,it is a great place to visit,,small but full of good stuff!!

We were surprised how much this museum had within its grounds. We especially liked the 'Pug and Pine Cottage which gave us a good idea of pioneer life. Lack of volunteers in national Trust Museums is always a promlem and those who do volunteer do a great job

Great to see some of SA early history kept in such a way the volunteers knew every thing that you asked of them.

Set in an old school, this museum has loads of interesting historic artefacts! We did not expect to enjoy it as much as we did! A small fee to get in, friendly and informative volunteers working there, it was a surprise find in Streaky!
