A gentle trip for morning tea on a little cruise boat - the Osprey. We enjoyed tea/coffee with scones, jam and cream and interesting commentary by the skipper about the Nambucca River and its early history. A dolphin or two accompanied us as we passed the Nambucca Island Golf Course and we saw a good number of birds, including an osprey and nests. Had hoped to see some loggerhead turtles on their way to the Gumma Wetlands for breeding season.....All in all, a pleasant morning.
