What a lovely spot to just sit and admire the view. There were plenty of good eateries ranging from very cheap to high spend. The beach itself is very clean but has had a few crocodile sightings.

Nice beach. Very Hawaii like but more laid back We took it easy as it rained on us all week October means stingers so don't expect to swim.

I recently spent a week in Palm Cove. Very small, but lots to do and this beach is perfect. Very relaxed, clean and enjoyable. Highly recommended.

A beautiful small beach. Not a lot of sand between the sea and the pavement as it comes in to about 20 feet and the tide hardly changes that distance. The stinger nets are put up when season needs them. We fond the sea got a little choppy later in The afternoons may just have been while we were there. There is a jetty and you can watch the fishermen.

6 times we have rocked into Palm Cove ... So we are a bit sold on the place. I've been trying to work out why? If you are wanting a slam bam thank you mam "hol", it's not for you ( although you could use this as a base to do all the adventure activities round Cairns.)But if you are looking for ambience i.e. Warm balmy evenings where you dine out at one of the cool chilled out restaurants in the " Cove" , you can't beat this place. If you are wanting to sunbake and surf on a beach.... Nuh, better go south.BUT if you are wanting to walk along a narrow beach with coconut trees leaning out to sea as if being wooed by sirens come here. If you are a bit grey round the temples and want great variety of choice for lunch & dinner , start booking

Now trip advisor, its a beach, a lovely, quite little beach. Strangely, it has sand and the ocean. Literally just over the road from most of the hotels

This beach strip is really stunning with ancient paper barks and palms growing around even inside the classy buildings that house the upmarket restaurants and resorts. Most of the restaurants here are expensive, but a few also cater to the budget travellers like ourselves.Parking is free and is directly in front of the beach. The beach itself is narrow, with palms growing quite close to the water. The road is also narrow, so the buildings are only about 20 - 30 meters from the water. The trees also provide plenty of shade. Swimming is restricted to a netted area as apparently there are jelly fish and sting rays. This is one of the nicest beaches I've seen anywhere, but it will cost you to stay here. We just did a day trip from Cairns, which is not so far away.
