It is easy to spend several hours in Coogoorah Park and it is sheltered away from the normal coastline. You can take a bush walk around the pathways, fish from the jetties, watch the ducks or birdlife on the water, stop for a barbecue or rest while the children play in the playground which includes a wooden ship inspired by the ¡®Inverlochy¡¯, wrecked off the coast in 1902. It is a well laid out parkland and has mountain bike tracks for the keen bikers. I enjoy walking around here and feeling at peace.
