I've see a lot of churches, so maybe I'm a little tired of churches, but I can still appreciate their beauty. Every church really is unique, and this one is no different. I went on a very slow day, so I had the whole church to myself. It was a truly calming experience and I definitely enjoyed it.

Really worth a visit. Great and breathtaking church in the middel of Odense. Although not a christian, I really like churches as many are arcithectonian masterpieces.

Its free to see the church and it does hold some interesting pieces. An example is the altar piece by Claus Berg which is considered a master pieces among the art works on display in Odense. You can also enter the crypt to see the remains of a danish king, burial linen woven in Constantinopel almost a 1000 years ago and the tombs of several danish kings and queens.

Es un templo g¨®tico, de ladrillos propios de esta regi¨®n, con su caracter¨ªstico color rojizo. Est¨¢ ubicada junto al ayuntamiento de la ciudad. Fue consagrada como catedral en 1499. Est¨¢ dedicada a Canuto IV de Dinamarca, el cual se cree que fue asesinado en una iglesia que se ubicaba en el mismo lugar en el que hoy se encuentra la catedral. Su interior al igual que su exterior es bastante sencillo, en el destaca un retablo de Claus Berg, as¨ª como otras obras del mismo autor. Tambi¨¦n encontramos el relicario de San Canuto y las tumbas de varios reyes de Dinamarca.
