This is the first place I visited on my walking tour of H?xter. It was originally a Romanesque basilica, originates from the 11th century, and is a protected monument. The organ was built in 1710 by Hinrich Klausing and is itself also a protected monument. The church is dedicated to St. Kilian, an Irish missionary bishop from the 7th century.
