The cafe looks really old but is spacious and used by locals and tourists alike. Delightful pastries and cakes. Children loved the ice creams.Would return.

Delicious pastries, gelato and fabulous hot chocolate. I loved the pastries filled with creme. The children loved the ciambellas. A great spot to hit early in the morning when the pastries are still warm and again in the afternoon for the gelato pick up!

On a visit Bracciano last week, my wife and I had a coffee and pastry in this fantastic cafe. If and when you are in this town, you must visit "Caffe Grand Italia"Fantastic selection of coffee, pastries and ice cream in this award winning bar.

This is one of the oldest caffe' in Bracciano. It dates back the early '900. And from that moment on, it works out very good, home made , ice creams, sweets, cakes, patisseries and more..

If you want to taste the best of Italy, Caffe Grand'Italia is not to be missed! The gelato and pastries have won national awards (as you can see on the walls of bar) - and once you try them, you will understand why. The service and warm hospitality is top notch. Just across the street is a square where you can relax, see the castle which attracts most people to Bracciano, and sometimes experience local markets and festivals. Caffe Grand'Italia is a true gem!

Caffe Grand¡¯Italia has the best gelato in Italy (the awards on the wall confirm it). In 25 years, traveling from Sicily to Piemonte, we have never found better gelato and pastries. Everything is hand made by maestro Marco DiPietro, and brother Luca and aunt Anna provide friendly service and expert advice on Italian wines. Bracciano has more bars than we have ever seen in a small town; but all the locals seem to go to Caffe Grand¡¯Italia, so it must be the best. Bracciano is just a short train ride from Rome, and the Orsini-Odescalchi Castle and the Italian Air Force Museum are memorable. But the coffee, pastries, and gelato at Caffe Grand¡¯Italia are unforgettable.

Marco has won prizes all over Italy for his gelato; take my advice, if you are in the area, Grand Italia, is a MUST stop!the ice cream, the cakes, the coffees, the tremezzini (sandwiches), the cocktails, and generally the service are just wonderful! We've been frequenting this bar for the past 17 years every time we are in Italy, it's my favourite, don't miss out! Tell Marco Pauline sent you (he works the morning shift), a better ice cream maker and pastry chef you won't find anywhere :). Enjoy!

If you are lucky enough to enjoy a trip to the picturesque village of Bracciano you must take time to visit this amazing family run Bar. It is not only a beautiful ambience but it also has the best ice cream for miles (well done Marco). I can't think of anything better than to head to the bar in the morning, sitting al fresco and enjoying a cappuccino and a freshly baked cornetto. My advice: DO NOT MISS IT!!!

After visiting the beautiful castle( where Tom Cruise married Kate Holmes) my husband and I stopped for typical cappuccino, it was the best one I've ever had!!! The bar had a nice family atmosphere, had a feeling that it was also a favorite with the locals.Colourful assortment of fresh pastries and great flavours of ice-cream for the kids. Well worth the stop! Well recommended

Over the years , I have have met local friends for coffee in Caffe Grand'Italia and have never been disappointed by the service and quality of the coffee. It is located in the centre of Bracciano directly opposite the Piazza fronting the Bracciano Town Hall, and noticably customers of all ages seem to patronise the Caffe which suggests they are doing something well. I try to keep away from the cake and dessert cabinets but they are enticing.

Quando ¨¨ arrivata non si ¨¨ nemmeno scusata per l'attesa, ma ancor pi¨´ scortese e sbrigativa ¨¨ stata la proprietaria. Il caff¨¨ erano buono, ma questo lo si pu¨° bere in molti altri bar. L'accoglienza e familiare e calorosa al Caffe Grand'Italia. Il gelato e uno dei migliore mai assaggiato e il cappucino e il cornetto sono fatti come dio volle. In oltre la pasticceria e fantastica e di una bellezza e bonta senza paragone. In oltre, la raccolta dei vini sono scelti con cura ed eccezionale. Si trova il Caffe Grand'Italia al centro del paese e un sosta e piu che consigliabile.
