This is the best national park in this region and me and my friends hiked into the forest from West entrance. The forest was real dense and the views were fantastic. It is about 35 kms from the city of Ornskoldsvik and takes about 45 mins drive to the West entrance. You can park the car near the entrance and walk in the pre-charted path. This is my first visit to Sweden, I really enjoyed the hiking experience.

Very remote, very unspoilt. Superb varied scenery, expansive if the weather if good.Also Slottdalsskreven is a must. Giant left in the round rock of a mountain dome. Impressive sight.Exposed rock everywhere up high. Mountain lakes. Picture perfect nature.World heritage site and rightly so.

Take some time, you will need it, to get up the hill for the spectacular views. You can even stay over night in the middle of the park.

I enjoyed a couple of hikes in the park and was blown away by the amazing fall foliage. Every view seems more beautiful than the last and well marked trails and clean, well kept facilities make it so easy to access the millions of photo opps. I learned so much about the High Coast thru the park. The conservancy plan In the entire country is to be admired. Unique to me is the uninhibited access to the park, the climbs, the activities. People can enjoy, at their own risk, and they don't fear liability. It is not something we see in Canada and the US because of liability insurance. Very cool

abbiamo fatto una bella passeggiata tra laghi, boschi, panorami e quant'altro. La strada carrabile basterebbe da sola ma i sentieri sono splendidi. Samo giunti fino alla cascata (di cui non ricordo il nome) non scorreva molta acqua ma era comunque suggestiva; c'¨¨ anche un teatro all'aperto dove ti siedi su tronchi posti a modo di sedili. Bello!

Husk gode vandrest?vler n?r du begiver dig ud i Skuleskogen, selv om der er anlagt gode vandrestier, s? er der mange klipper, som skal panseres, hvis man vil have de smukke udsigtssteder. Husk godt med vand p? turen. Skogen har flotte huser, som man kan overnatte i efter f?rst til m?lle princippet.
