good place to visit, describes the history of the place, it's free entrance, there is a restaurant and a library inside

This buiding is a nice looking achitectural design furnished with a glass roof. Inside you will find the Sundsvall StadsBibliotek. It's a library and bookstore at the same time caters to Philanthropist and Sundsvall visitors. All books are written in Scandinavian language. Interesting part is the mini museum provides the historical stuffs of the the hometown. e.g Antiques Swedish dolls.

Four former store houses put together to host several cultural institutions, such as the libray and Sundsvall Museum. The glass roof makes an intersting architectual combination that's defenitly worth a visit. just walks in and have a morning coffe at the library restaurant. Enjoy the flow and what the people walk in and out. Best way to exprience Sundsvall 's daily life!

A few well spent hours in the Kultur Magasinet when rain was falling down... Good quality exhibition, fianc¨¦e picked up a release shutter cable for his camera, small caf¨¦ with good service. Nice and homely in a lovely building. Didn't get time to check out the library.

"Kulturmagsinet" consists of a library and a museum. The library offers free internet and some international newspapers which is great when you are traveling. The museum is divided between archological finds of some interest and art. The main exhibit was kind of strange though, must have been some local hero trying to imitate the likes of Rothko and Malevitj. Completely unoriginal art. Exhibitions on the second and third floor was curated from the collections. Again we find nothing of international standing, Mostly modernism, again unknowns imitating their heroes without knowledge and sense of color, I know it isn't fair to expect a small town museum to display major works by international artists but when I visit places like "Kulturmagsinet" I expect to learn something about local contemporary art. What?s going on in Sundsvall? If "Kulturmagsinet" (the cultural warehouse) is something to judge by nothing has happened since the 60's.The archeological exhibits and the architecture itself with a large glass roof connecting several older buildings are on the other hand quite nice and well worth a look. It's a pity they couldn't find some interesting art to fill the place with. Also on the plus side, free admission.

Utanf?r finns en lekpark och l?get ?r centralt. G?r ett bes?k och se vad ni tycker.

Finns ett underbart cafe?/mats?lle d?r man kan ?ta, lite franskinspererat, samt kiosk med lite av varje att handla i, Bibliotek finns,samt en scen d?r det ibland ?r upptr?dande och f?rel?sningar. Ett halvdagsbes?k p? Kulturmagasinet en h?st-eller vinterdag ?r en mycket trevlig syssels?ttning. N?r man blir hungrig/sugen finns ett utm?rkt caf¨¦ med b?de matr?tter och "fika". H?r ?r ofta konstutst?llningar samt permanenta utst?llningar. I byggnaden finns ?ven bl a Sundsvalls fina bibliotek. H?r ?r d? och d? olika evenemang, som konserter fr varierande genre. Stort bibliotek och trevligt museum. V?rt ett bes?k en regnig dag. Inget speciellt f?r att vara bibliotek men det mesta finns.

Ett fantastiskt hus som ?r omgjort fr?n ett gammalt magasin till en fantastisk byggnad som b.l.a inneh?ller bibliotek.Det h?nder n?stan alltid n?got intressant allt fr?n musikgrupper som spelar, f?redrag.massor av kultur mm
