My wife and I had lunch here. Ray's Evergreen Tavern is a bar/restaurant with a nice open environment. The bar was packed when we there on a Saturday afternoon. It has a blue collar feel for an area that seems to be over-crowded with white-collar professionals. We both started off with a bowl of their French Onion Soup which we thought was too watery and it did not have much flavor. We then ordered their daily special that was Pot Roast. It was good and was a decent portion. Our server, also the bartender, was excellent. She was very prompt, polite, and courteous. The overall cleanliness was good for a bar. There was no odor of stale beer nor was the bar area cluttered with years of stuff.
