Vasa Park is a lovely 25 acre park that borders the Fox River. It has mature trees, a pavilion, rest rooms, a flower garden and some buildings. I recently attended the Scandinavian Day Festival at the park which was fun. There were a number of vendors offering food and Scandinavian items, entertainment, pony rides for the children, etc. I noticed that there are other events listed on the Vasa Park website as well. I would recommend this park if you have an opportunity to attend an event there.
