I stopped in at Ortega Falls in January, just off the twisting and winding Ortega Highway. There is a large pull off on the left(if coming from LA) that you can see the falls area from. A quick walk through some thicket brings you to the base of the falls. This would be a great stop when the water is flowing. There are no facilities here, but some are available just south at the park or north in Lake Elsinore.
