I have been going to Kiawah Island for 16 years. I have used a variety of bike rental companies. During our spring break trip I was remind once again why I always go back to Island Bike and Surf my business. Every time, yes every time, I try to give someone a chance at my business, I encounter a customer service issue they cannot or will not resolve. Every time I use Island Bike and Surf my bikes are delivered on time! If I encounter an issue, they promptly resolve it. My daughter felt her bike was too big. They brought us a smaller. This summer we discovered we had a flat as we were leaving the beach one evening. I left a message that night. First thing in the morning, they swapped out the bike while my husband and I were on an early morning walk. One year we had a problem with locks sticking, they dropped off new locks. Another time a seat started to wobble. They came and fixed it. After the spring break issue, I decided I was going back to Island Bike and Surf and staying with them. As long as they remain, reliable and service oriented. They have truly earned my business.

Rented three bikes for a week. Very friendly service and helped us change a child¡¯s bike to a tandem mid-week. Were also flexible on the return time. If you are going to be going to the beach a lot, a cargo trailor is worth it. Much cheaper than renting from Kiawah.
