The PP Bliss Gospel music useum is an interesting place for those interested in the hymnology of the early 1800's . Rome Pa. is home territory for the "Music Men of Rome" Bliss, Towner, Mc Granahan . All well known hymn writers of their era. The 22 ft. tall white marble Memorial Cenotaph for PP Bliss is just up mainstreet from the museum and also worth a vsit. At the time it was dedicated it is said that 10,000 people were in attendance .We visited as a part of the yearly PP Bliss Birthday celebration.Sam & Joy Baker
