The Giddings Library and Cultural Center is a relaxing and educational stop in Giddings. The library is bright and clean, and has a good selection of books and media. Wi-Fi is available, as well as a number of public-use computers. The staff is friendly and helpful. The library offers two interesting displays - the Arnold Smith Collection of more than 2000 Native American artifacts, and the Hilton Lee Smith Baseball Memorabilia Collection, featuring items from this National Baseball Hall of Fame member. The library also has a good genealogy and local history collection.
