Amy's park includes two short hikes (1-1.5 miles each) in a secluded forest. We only had time for the yellow hike, which leads to a beaver pond. The half-mile (each way) trail through a beautiful, rich forest takes you to the edge of the pond, from where you can see the beaver houses and dam. Note that shortly before the first viewpoint, a side trail leads to the left for a crossing of the stream and another viewpoint closer to the beaver activity area. Overall this is a short, beautiful hike well worth the drive from Lake George.
