Had a fun, interesting day today at Century House, Snyder Estate and Widow Jane's Mine. Our historian/guide was lovely and took the time to explain the history of the cement industry in Rosendale.The mine itself is awesome! Very cool; light protrudes from the outside through various crevices and spaces, making it a beautiful place to visit.

The museum is great, and the Widow Jane Cave, a former cement mine, anchors the place. The Cave has an underground lake! Sometimes they host concerts and parties. The Halloween vibe is the spookiest!
