I walked all the way from Leonidio to Saint Nicholas. At the beginning it was tiring and tough. After the half distance I felt my legs get lighter. When I finally had eye contact to the monastery, I felt that Saint Nicholas was pulling me up…The feeling is indescribable. From up there you can see the whole area from high.

A careful drive on a westerly road. Take a right turn on the road from Leonidio to Plaka. Follow the signs and go through the olive grove- opening gates in each end- a 25 minute drive up hill with many twists and turns will reward you with one if the most remote and beautiful monastery's in the area. Photos at every corner. We were greeted by a nun who gave us both a handful of fruit, biscuits and sweets. Stop. Breath and take in the moment, scenery and company. It is lovely. After that. Take care and drive safely on the way down.

Λαυρεντ?α , που θα σε κερ?σει σ?γουρα ?να γλυκ? ? ?να φρ?σκο φρο?το...Πραγματικ? εμπειρ?α...και ?σω? ?γνωστη στου? περισσ?τερρου? που επσικ?πτονται το Λεων?διο ? την γ?ρω περιοχ? (τα φ?τα κλ?βει η δι?σημη μονλη Ελ?νο?)
