Fantastic view overlooking the Aegean an idyllic beach and the surroundings are wonderful, nothing to dislke

My family and I came across this little known paradise at the beach called Foinikas at Plaka beach, There are free palms to catch some sun under at tables or lounge chairs, Good food and great drinks, They also have free hot showers, The staff are awesome!! Family owned and they have a Facebook page which describes it all! foinikasplaka cafe, You have to check it out!! you will never forget and want to come back, P.S> they also have a wonderful lady there who gives a wonderful massage for very little money. Beach, water and food are ALL excellent! Also not a large number of people. So beautiful, clean and breathtaking.

Always something to look at, tons of boats coming and going, and a very pretty setting with the beach, the sea and the mountains. Also lots of choice in terms of restaurants.

Free umbrellas with your coffee or ouzo or meze, clear water, friendly, scenic. Caffes, restaurants, some activities.

its a joy to wander through,both for its old cafes and houses,notably a 12th century fortified one which has recently been restored,and for some picturesque ruins,including some towers on the mountains,which have not. Come by hydrofoil from Piraeus into the compact and jolly port with a "bijou" harbour,plenty of travernas and good swimming from Plaka beach and its coarse sand and shingle. Its a peaceful place to linger during the out of season months of the year.

Our trip to Greece included a drive down to Leonidio, Although we were there on the 5 of January and the beach was deserted, you could see the beauty of it. A huge pebble beach - great for long walks. I am sure that summer here must be quite different but just to share my experience - it was lovely there. (also has some seaside restaurants at the Plaka area at the start of the beach) . The port is picturesque and had a couple of yachts and few fishing boats. We found the area very beautiful.

Just returned from a sort tour in Peloponisse. We found this lovely beach a short drive from Arhontiko Chioti in Leonidion, where we were staying. It really is lovely.Super beach, nice location. Nice and sandy, few pebbles. Easily accessed from Leonidion town. Nice tavernas nearby selling super traditional food and plenty of it too. We sat doing nothing for ages, so peaceful even in weekend. We ate at the fish restaurant, probably the most expensive meal of the holiday but by far the best!

Plaka beach c'est d'abord une plage calme (en dehors des week-ends et des vacances scolaires). C'est ensuite le caf¨¦ Foinikas qui jouxte la plage et o¨´ on trouve des rafraichissements et une petite restauration servis avec le sourire et beaucoup de professionnalisme. C'est aussi le petit port avec ses restaurants grecs typiques o¨´ il fait bon d¨¦guster de petits plats apr¨¨s s'¨ºtre promen¨¦ dans la cuisine. Et c'est enfin l'hotel Dionysos avec sa patronne dont la gentillesse est l¨¦gendaire et les chambres sont propos¨¦es ¨¤ un bon prix....un petit paradis
